Baby Carrot?

Our kids love baby carrots.  The other day, much to our surprise, out of the bag came a not so baby carrot.  Grayson really enjoyed gnawing on it.

One carrot in the mouth and an olive on each finger.  He is so cool.

Avery gets a little jealous if I don't take pictures of her, so she had to do something picture-worthy as well.  Really, it was just kind of obnoxious.

Downtown

We have been very much enjoying dining and then walking down Main Street in downtown Bethlehem on the weekends.  There are many people, dogs and other things for the kids to look at.

While waiting for a table at our favorite kid friendly restaurant, Bethlehem BrewWorks, I got this shot of Grayson.  (p.s. I love how you can see Adam in the reflection of his sunglasses and me on the other side taking the picture!)

It made me remember a similar shot that I took of him last year on that same bench. I looked back at the  date of this old photo and it was exactly 364 days ago!  What a difference a year makes.

Steel Stacks

Another fun morning at a kids concert at Steel Stacks this weekend!

They started out a little bored...

Then Grayson started wrestling...

So it got Avery up and dancing.  (These pictures were taken on my phone, so the rest of them are blurry jumping pictures that I will refrain from sharing).

After the concert, Grayson was very interested in this young lady...

He kept following her around, trying to hug her and hold her hand.  Too cute!

Bath time smooches!

I didn't even stage this one.  They just started kissing in the tub the other day and I actually got a smooch in action!

Happy Birthday to Guster!

Most years, May 4th comes and goes.  Then, around late May, we remember that we missed Guster's birthday. Birthdays are very special in our house and I was determined to remember Guster's this year since he was our first child.  We know he definitely does not get as much attention since the kids were born, so he deserved a little TLC.  So, I took the kids to a local dog food bakery and we each picked out a freshly made treat for him.

This was his "birthday cake"

He also got a nice long stick to chew on.

It's hard to believe this is what he looked like as a newborn 6 years ago (he's the cutie in the middle)

And this was him when we brought him to our home in Baltimore.

I like to remember these cuter days, especially on days when he does things like this...
Three days before his birthday, he got into a very dirty diaper and ripped it to shreds.  I actually wasn't that mad since I was planning to clean that carpet anyway. It gave me to motivation to do it right then! But c'mon he's 6 years old now! Shouldn't he be done with this stuff?

Caution: Inappropriate!

All was quiet in the house and we came upon a shut bathroom door.  Avery was doing her business and Grayson was playing on the floor at her feet in our teeny tiny bathroom.

Neither of them thought it was weird at all.  They just love to be together all the time!

Backyard Picnics

Our backyard is our favorite place to hang out when the weather gets nice.  We've been enjoying backyard picnics whenever the weather is nice enough - and it has been nice ALOT lately!  These kids are so easy to please. I just put out a blanket and some food and they think it is the coolest thing ever!

Grayson is really into his ham sandwich, while Avery is more interested in hamming it up for the camera....

We don't normally eat ham, but ever since Easter when Grayson devoured the ham on his plate, we decided to buy it a few times since then.  He apparently loves ham!

Avery's signature pose for when the camera comes out...

Grayson trying to copy that pose!

A yummy lunch followed by fruit smoothies on the patio. Life is good.
