Since Avery is in the "young 3's" class at preschool, she, along with most of her classmates, have summer birthdays. So instead of celebrating birthdays during the school year, each child is assigned a "Special Day" and today was Avery's special day. I was asked to bring in some pictures this morning and then during class, she and her teachers made a poster together. I was invited to come back to her classroom to see her present her poster, share a snack and read a story.
Here she is (so very proudly) presenting her poster to her class (of course, using her hands to explain everything)...
It was such a proud Mommy moment for me to read that she wants to be a dietitian when she grows up. However, when she presented it to her class, instead of "dietitian," she said "paleontologist."
Either way, I am super proud of her! She can be anything she wants!
The soon-to-be dietitian made a super healthy rainbow fruit sticks to share with her friends while Mommy read them "The Giving Tree." (She chose this book, which was actually Adam's book that he received from his Nonna for his 4th Christmas - it's dated and signed by her in the front!) So special that she would pick that one <3
Your 3 year old knows the word "paleontologist??" Wow - totally impressed! She must have one smart mama :)
ReplyDeleteShe totally learned it from TV (Dinosaur Train). I cannot take credit for that! : )
